It gives youth ages 14-24 real-world experience in companies that include government agencies, hospitals, summer camps, non-profits, small businesses, law firms, museums, sports enterprises and retail companies. The SYEP is a great way to learn about different industries and can add value to a college or technical school application, by demonstrating that you’ve had some work experience.
