Hey, Summer is finally here! I know everyone is trying to find fun things to do. With the super-hot heat in the air, it’s almost impossible to get out to enjoy the summer weather! Try these activities and I’m sure you’ll have a summer worth spending!
If you love music and concerts (free ones at that), then this might just be for you. Each summer, NBC’s Today Show and Good Morning America have free Summer Concert Series in New York City. Don’t you love free? From One Direction, The Band Perry, and even Chris Brown, you’ll have an ecstatic music filled summer! The Today Show Concert Series is located on 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza, near Fifth Avenue. Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series takes place in Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield on 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue. All concerts start at 7 a.m. in the morning. If you want to get a good spot, go early or you may miss out on the concert.

Not only are there free concerts, but there are some awesome festivals, too! I’ve been to a festival in Manhattan and was even able to buy two cute shirts while I was there. From the different set-ups and activities for little kids, these festivals sure give some spunk to your summer shopping spree. You never know, you might just find me in the spotlight singing with the big- shots on stage!
